She shares:
“We all understand the significant impact lifestyle choices have on our well-being. Yet, making lasting changes can at times feel daunting. My mission is to empower individuals to live fulfilling lives through personalized, evidence based guidance. I partner with clients, providing both the evidence based recommendations and support needed to confidently navigate their journey towards long-lasting health.”
Experience
Adriana’s early interest in food and sustainability led her to pursue a graduate research position at the University of Minnesota, where she studied various agricultural production practices and the genetic and epigenetic regulation of fruit traits. She later conducted postdoctoral work in food safety and the plant microbiome at the University of Maryland and worked in research and development at a food startup in the San Francisco Bay Area. Throughout her career she conducted extensive literature reviews, laboratory and field work, all of which resulted in the publication of multiple peer-reviewed articles and presentations at educational, scientific and company meetings.
Her goal of helping others live healthier lives lead her to join the MS program in Nutritional Science at San Jose State University. During this time she taught the Food Science lab and volunteered at Stanford Health Care and Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. After graduation, she completed her Dietetic Internship at Idylwood Care Center, a long-term skilled nursing facility in Santa Clara County.
Adriana is currently working with private clients through her practice based in Menlo Park, CA, as well as patients referred through a non-profit organization serving Santa Cruz and Monterey County.
